About FontShowerAWT

Displays all the fonts available to AWT in Java on yourmachine. Displays the fonts in a variety of style, sizesand colour, rendered either with a Canvas or with a TextArea.

FontShower displays the fonts available on *your* machineto *Java*. Other people will have different fonts installedand will see different selections available to Java ontheir machines. Your browser will see a slightly differentset of fonts than Java does. Java has a few extra privatefont, and some browser fonts don't work with Java.

The source contains two classes that may be of general use:

ColorChooser, an AWT color chooser that works in both hexand decimal letting you select foreground or backgroundcolours. You can cannibalise this Component for your ownprograms.

The other is a FontArea, which is like a stripped-downTextArea, except it lets you use any Font on it, not justthe basic logical fonts the way a real TextArea does.
